Monash University Publishing is the publishing arm of Monash University, the largest university in Australia. It produces scholarly work of the highest quality, ensured by rigorous peer review. The Social Sciences and Humanities are the focal point for this Press. Their books address a range of current social issues from alcohol abuse to questions of gender and race. Also, the Asia-Pacific region continues to be one of the geographic focuses of their publications. The publications of Monash Asia Institute Press, which ISBS have distributed for many years, have recently been incorporated into Monash University Publishing, and thus Monash Asia Institute Press is now considered an imprint of Monash University Publishing.
