Copernicus Center Press is an imprint of the Copernicus Center for Interdisciplinary Studies - a joint-venture between the Jagiellonian University and the John Paul II Pontifical University in Kraków. The Center, founded in 2008, is based on the fundamental idea of a dialogue between philosophy, theology, and modern science, that symbolized by the great Renaissance polymath (and the most famous student of Jagiellonian University) - Nicolaus Copernicus.

They publish academic monographs in Polish and English. Their publications, which maintain the highest standards of scholarship, cover a broad spectrum of scientific and philosophical thought including, inter alia, philosophy (in particular, philosophy of science), theology, cosmology, mathematics, logic, evolutionary theory, neurobiology, and legal philosophy.

Their goal is to disseminate the works of modern philosophers and scientists on a wide, yet coherent, range of topics and improve understanding of the complex relations between philosophy and science. Starting in 2010, they have published 15 books (5 in English) and plan to publish approximately 10 English books a year.

Amongst their authors are world-leading scholars, such as the physicist Sir Roger Penrose, neuroscientist Joseph LeDoux, and the Templeton Prize winners Michael Heller and Francisco J. Ayala.
