Winter 2016 Announcements and News

What we've been up to lately...

ISBS is preparing for this year’s Frankfurt Book Fair, where we will meet with publishers and learn more about the industry’s newest developments and innovation. Come visit us at our booth 6.0 C42!

We personally attended the Law & Society conference in New Orleans in June, and the American Association of Law Libraries in Chicago in July. The conferences were very busy, with great discussions regarding the publisher industry, the field of library sciences, and new and forthcoming titles. If you are interested in a specific subject in the field of Law or other areas, feel free to send us an e-mail at info@isbs.com so we can let you know about our current titles.

Publisher News…

We are very pleased to welcome two publishers on board. Both are located in the UK. We welcome on board the Commonwealth Secretariat and Hall & Stott Publishing. The Commonwealth Secretariat gives access to authoritative research and evidenced-based policy advice from work with the 53 country members. The publications promote the Commonwealth Secretariat’s mission of democracy and development. Hall & Stott Publishing is an innovative new law publisher producing books for today’s law students and practitioners. We look forward to working with these publishers and introducing their books to customers in America.

Exciting news for UWAP Publishing was announced last night: Running Out? Water in Western Australia by Ruth A. Morgan won the WA History category at the WA Premier's Book Awards. UWA Publishing’s books Paul Hasluck: A Life by Geoffrey Bolton and Between Duty and Design: the Architect Soldier Sir J. J. Talbot Hobbs by John J. Taylor were also shortlisted in the WA History category.

In other news…
